On a narrow-minded world filled with images of knitting grandmas with cats, who is left to take up sticks and string, and take pedigree cats to the show halls? It is I, Mychawd The Knitting SAMurai who doubles as a Devon Rex handler in the Cat Show ring. Ahhh c'mon, are you really still trying to take me seriously? Yes, my life is a little like the movie Dog Show…only with crazy cat people and knitters. It's nothing if not entertaining!

birds
It's a typicall snowy day here. It seems to be doing a lot of snowing this year. But you know the birds have really come out in force to eat from the feeders.

Ooooo...looks COLD!!!!
As for my dishcloths...some I keep for myself and some I give as gifts. I don't know that I'd like the cotton for a blanket. It seems kind of scratchy. Have you tried it?
I have an awful lot of cotton yarn. I certainly have enough to make a few blankets.
I miss having bird feeders! Back in CT the birds would get so mad at me when I didn't feed them on time each morning that they get all noisy! We always had the prettiest cardinals stop by our feeders.
Oops, I forgot to leave my name on that comment I just posted about my birdfeeders in CT. I must be a little absent-minded today (well, maybe not just today)!
I actually made my hubby go out in the snow to refill the feeder - and the top was frozen on, so in typical guy fashion, he banged it a few times in the kitchen - seed everywhere! But the birds, including cardinals, are happy now.
